Feeling more confident in the bedroom can mean so many things. Being sexually confident doesn’t mean looking the best, it means having the best experience for you. Here at TNLC we want you to feel sexy in the bedroom and keep those lights on!

Worrying about the way your body looks…

Lots of people feel self conscious of their bodies during sex but trust us no one looks like how people do in the movies. We must practise self love and body positivity in general life as well as the bedroom. It is important to remember how we are all shaped differently and not one body is the same. Embrace your natural beauty and feel sexy in the bedroom! Feeling good in yourself will enhance the experience for you.

Be mindful…

The way you are thinking in your head will reflect on your experience overall. If you are speaking to yourself negatively you won’t feel confident or sexy. You need to be present in the moment and focus on the pleasure you are feeling. Try to focus on your five senses to fully appreciate the sensations in the moment.

Work on your communication…

Only 9% of women feel confident enough to speak to their partner about sex. However, creating an environment where you feel confident to speak to your partner about how you feel and what works for you. It can make it easier then to explore possible fetishes and kinks.

Pamper yourself…

When you are feeling good within yourself it will show in the bedroom. If you are feeling low, take some time out to indulge in some self care and do something that makes you feel good about yourself! Whether this is buying yourself a new matching set of sexy lingerie or a bath and a face mask. Whatever will get that confidence back and kicking into the sheets, do it!

Spice things up…

Sometimes repeating the same things can get boring and then make you feel like you are doing something wrong. Maybe try a new position with your partner or even some role play! It’s important to try new things in the bedroom as it can be so easy to get stuck into the same mundane routine. Try something new and reignite that fire.

Tell your partner about it…

Make your partner aware of how you are feeling if you are feeling insecure. Your partner can hype you up and reassure you on how sexy you are! Also, discussing your deeper feelings and emotions with your partner can bring you closer together.
